How does it work?
Create a new event:
- Define the name of the event, when it will happen, who will participate, specify its location
- Set reminder note and choose to send automatic email notification to all participants on the date of the event
- To add new participants, use menu Add Contact, once Contacts are opened, select contact and choose menu Add to RemindMe
- Once the event is created:
* Calendar appointment for the event will be created
* Reminder for that event will be saved in Calendar as well
On the day of the event
- the icon of the app will change to "cake" icon
- there will be "cake" indicator in the notification area of the phone screen
- font color of the event will turn red
For upcoming events
- the icon of the app will change to "balloon" icon
- there will be "balloon" indicator in the notification area of the phone screen
- font color of the upcoming event will turn yellow
- Send Reminder: if you want to remind the event participants, email notification will be sent to their valid email addresses. Notification will include the name and date of the event, reminder note (as specified), location and links to BB Maps and Google maps (to show the location)
Options:
- set the number of days for reminder for upcoming events
- choose whether to create Calendar appointment for a new special event
- choose whether to create reminder in Calendar for a new special event
