I'm an uploader, mostly active at Android section. The only reason why I spend my time uploading files is because I get some money from file hosting sites (Filesonic & Duckload).
Recently, I realized that when other people attach files to my threads (and not only my), attachments get over 100-200 downloads while my links get only 10-20. That's a huge problem for me and my uploading work isn't worth only 10-20 downloads.
I never thought this might be accepted because we have many, many lazy downloaders here that can't wait even 30 seconds just to support uploaders, until I saw an amazing post in my thread [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] . Here's the quote:

Remember: If it wasn't for them, we would have nothing at all for free, cause the best apps are paid.


The above statement is meant to make all of us think.

As this guy stated, downloaders rely on uploaders work. Still, they can't show a little respect by downloading from original links (and supporting them that way). I think this is not fair and that we should implement a rule which will forbid posting of attachment mirrors.
I know that something similar was already a rule and then removed, but it covered only external mirrors (not attachments). Still, I believe that admins should consider adding a rule that will protect us - uploaders.
As long as I earn here, I'll stay here - but when my work becomes useless and just waste of my time, I'll stop. And I won't be the only one who will stop.
