resident evil ( easter egg ) secret

hi, while playing resident evil, i saw a zombie bat or bird flying, when i shoot it it wont die, it keep flying in the room then it go through walls, i ignored that, but i saw it again in the baggage room , and the infirmiry , i can't kill it


is this a glitch or a secret ?? because it's weird to put a bird on a zombie game
