Hi guys,

I have a question and I think this may be the best place to ask.

I have a Acer AL1512m Monitor (INFO:[Only registered and activated users can see links. ])
that I want to connect to my Wharfedale DVDR24hdf.

I believe I would need a Scart to VGA (SVGA) connector but the problem I am wondering about is that when I look up the cables on eBay they say the following:
" The input screen must support a horizontal scan rate of 15.625KHz- (MOST projectors, plasma and LCD panels do, whereas CRT monitors don't). Please check with your appliance manual for suitability. "

(eBay reference: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ])

The spec on the monitor says its horizontal refresh rate is 63 KHz but the cable needs 15.625 KHz.

Does this mean that the cable will work because the monitor has a higher refresh rate than the cable?

Any help would be really helpful please.
